I always hear it attributed to Hughes before the third.TGGPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11017651009634767649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1139527419896752730.post-59665970705521022952015-07-02T23:14:48.307-07:002015-07-02T23:14:48.307-07:00-John Hughes wrote the first Home Alone, but Chris...-John Hughes wrote the first Home Alone, but Chris Columbus directed it.

-Mason's plan represents a kind of hope, but it's not a pure hope simply because mason is the genesis of it. The fact that he's a disgusting, irredeemable, abusive, incestuous pedophile means that anything that comes out of his mouth is fundamentally flawed. As righteous as Alana's intentions are, her alliance with Mason is a fundamental strike against her previous "moral compass" status in the show. Again, that's not a "bad" thing, especially given her character's development, it simply is.

-It's so monster-y that it needs to be a mix of some voices or it wouldn't make sense, and if it was just Hannibal's voice, the words spoken wouldn't really be as impactful as they would be if it was Will talking to Abigail (it only really makes sense for it to be Will to Abigail, I think)

-Fioamatteroftastehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03096786066345620278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1139527419896752730.post-31184405126312408842015-07-02T12:16:24.528-07:002015-07-02T12:16:24.528-07:00Chris Columbus directed the third Home Alone movie...Chris Columbus directed the third Home Alone movie. John Hughes did the original.

If I didn't already know that Mason's plan would fail, I would say it does represent hope, even if not the ideal variety. Recall that Hannibal has killed many people and will continue to do so unless someone stops him, Mason's bodycount as far as we know is zero.

Joe Anderson seems to mumble when speaking with an American accent (the only other thing I've seen him in is The Divide*), but given what happened to Mason I don't mind.
*After typing that I heard you mention The Grey, but I have no memory of him in that.

I thought Alana was simply imagining Hannibal's voice.TGGPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11017651009634767649noreply@blogger.com
